1. Agreement to Terms

This website (the "Site") is owned and operated by Sugar Honey ("we," "us," or "our"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to our Site and your purchase of our products. By placing an order, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Our Products & Services

Sugar Honey provides handcrafted artisan cakes, cupcakes, and pastries ("Products"). We are committed to artistry, quality, and transparency.

• Product Appearance: As all our products are handmade, slight variations in appearance, color, and decoration may occur. We strive to make each creation beautiful, and these minor variations are a mark of true artisanal craftsmanship, not defects.
• Allergen Information: While we take great care to prevent cross-contamination, our kitchen handles common allergens including nuts, dairy, eggs, and gluten. We cannot guarantee that any product is 100% free from allergens. It is the customer's responsibility to inform us of any severe allergies.
• Product Availability: All orders are subject to the availability of ingredients, especially seasonal items. We reserve the right to discontinue any product or make substitutions of equal or greater value if necessary.

3. Orders, Payments, and Cancellations

Our goal is to ensure a smooth and transparent ordering process.

• Order Confirmation: An order is not confirmed until full payment has been received and you have received a confirmation email from us. For custom orders, a signed agreement and deposit may be required.
• Payment: We accept payment through the methods specified at checkout. Full payment is required before an order is prepared for pickup or delivery. All transactions are processed through secure, PCI-compliant payment gateways.
• Cancellations & Refunds: Due to the perishable and custom nature of our products, we have a strict cancellation policy. Standard cake orders may be cancelled up to 72 hours before the scheduled pickup/delivery time for a partial refund or store credit. Custom and wedding cake orders are subject to the terms in their specific contract. We do not offer refunds for cakes that have been delivered or picked up.
• Damages: Once a cake is picked up or delivered, we are not responsible for any damage that occurs. We will provide clear instructions for transport and care. In the rare event an order is incorrect, please contact us within 24 hours.

4. Custom Design Orders

For custom orders, we work from inspirational photos and sketches. While we aim to replicate designs as closely as possible, we cannot guarantee an exact match. We reserve the right to exercise our artistic judgment to ensure the structural integrity and aesthetic quality of the final cake.

5. Intellectual Property

All content on this Site, including the Sugar Honey name and logo, product names, photographs, text, and website design, is our exclusive property and is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. You are prohibited from using any of our content for commercial purposes without our prior written consent.

6. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SUGAR HONEY SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SITE OR THE PURCHASE OF OUR PRODUCTS. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM YOUR PURCHASE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE TOTAL AMOUNT PAID FOR THE PRODUCT IN QUESTION.

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. We will provide notice by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Site after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
